Description

Christian now has a good source for Snakewood and as such is making available his snakewood range of tippers on a consistant basis. This range of tippers is probably our most popular amongst discriminating bodhrán players, not only for their performance but also for their great look!

The Snakewood Tipper Range:

  • SW1: What Christian calls his "classic" snakewood tipper. Straight & Slightly Rounded. 16g, 24cm x 8mm
  • SW2: "Top-End" style tipper with a classic drum stick shape for a clean attack. 18g, 23.3cm x 9mm
  • SW3: A favorite. Suited for both "Top-End" and "Traditional / Kerry" style playing. It's slight faring at the ends adds a subtle punch of momentum. 17g, 23.8cm
  • SW4: Same profile as the ME3 but a bit thinner. For when you need a bit more weight than an SW3. 21g, 22.7cm
  • SW5: Same profile as the ME5 but a bit thinner. Mainly for those who play in the "Traditional / Kerry" style or combo players that sometimes switch beetween trad to "Top-End". A bit more weight on the ends than the SW3 adds momentum to your strike. Great for sounding out nice warm bassy tones. 19g, 22.4 cm
